So, I'm posting these for our family because other people might not be super-interested in every little detail of what we're doing (and my complete and utter fascination with taking pictures of anything/one with snow on it).
The kids have been digging trenches and tunnels in the yard. These pics are from last night... about 2 hours after they had totally dug it out.
These next couple of pics are taken around town when Kirk was out and about (Heth, doesn't this remind you of Moro when we were kids??):
Yeah, there's a car under that pile (below)
This is the Hood River taken today on our way to The Dalles
I love this little island, nicknamed Chicken Charlie's Island
If you're still trying to figure out what to get me for Christmas, it was for sale last year for $1.4 million. You can't put a price on love, can you?? I'll even let you stay in the house that's on the island. I'm sure we can make some kind of arrangement. Have your people call my people, ok?
This is Nate, stuck in his snow tunnel. He didn't make it wide enough to get his arms through, and he got stuck.
This is Hayden attempting to pull Nate out of the tunnel. He successfully removed a boot, not a body.
And thus ends day EIGHT (but who's counting??) of snow pics.
I've always wanted to own that island. I used to tell my grandparents every summer when they'd drive me back to Hillsboro from LaGrande, after spending a month of my summer vacation with them. If I win the lottery some day, maybe I'll try to purchase it and then I'll let you use it, like a timeshare.
I love all the snow! It looks like your boys are having a great time in the yard! I'm hoping to get some photos and video of my two tomorrow. I tried today, but it was already getting too dark by the time they got home from Granny's.
Stay warm!
